passed away tragically in an auto accident on Oct. 11, 2014, while traveling with his wife in Tenn. A lifelong resident of Indiana, he was a staunch supporter of the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts and Butler University.

He was born on May 14, 1969, in Dayton, Ohio, to Arthur and Kim (Hull) Mayberry. Doug was a graduate of Warren Central High School, and was a life-time (almost 20 years) employee of PreCoat Metals in Greenfield.

He is survived by his parents, his loving wife and soul mate, Cheryl Danielle; his son, Cody; son, Rob Ropke; daughter, Jamie (Adam) Cooper; and grandson, Rohan Cooper; sister, Michelle Mayberry; brother Shawn (Jamie) Mayberry; a nephew; two nieces. His in-laws, John and Charlene Kelsey, will also miss him greatly, as he was a truly good person they were proud to have in the family.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bridget (Collins) Mayberry.
So many people are truly saddened to learn of the sudden loss of the loving and kind-hearted man Doug was. He will be greatly missed by many in the community.
Private Services will be held at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Calvary Baptist Church at 1450 W. Main Street, Greenfield Indiana. Pastor Ronnie Dunn, of Cookeville Tenn., will deliver the service.
Donations may be made to the Hamilton County Humane Society, 1721 Pleasant St, Noblesville, IN 46060.
